About the Collection
Based in Yorkshire, Oak & Pine by Design is an expert woodworking workshop, specialising in functional handmade kitchens and furniture made using woods from sustainable sources.
— Standing on the shoulders of giants, we use traditional joinery techniques tried and tested by generations of woodworkers before us to deliver products of timeless design.

The handmade kitchens we make are all crafted by our highly skilled team of craftsmen. And each kitchen is unique because we translate the customer's vision into a functional design that compliments their individual home and lifestyle.

In-house, end to end
Like true craftsmen, wherever possible we keep the manufacturing process in house to oversee quality control and optimise value for our customers. We can supply samples of different types of hardwood and we retain a limited stock of reclaimed timbers.
Every new handmade kitchen project begins with an entirely free consultation with our Master Craftsman, Daniel Fitzpatrick, who oversees the work from initiation to installation.

The Maker
Daniel Fitzpatrick
Owner & Master Craftsman · Guild member since 2016
Began his apprenticeship in 1995 under a reputable Yorkshire wood turning company. Today his work appears in world-class Knightsbridge department stores. Daniel personally oversees every commission.
Alongside the workshop team, Daniel guides each bespoke furniture and kitchen project from first conversation through to fitting and finishing.
Delivery & Installation
Master Craftsman, Daniel Fitzpatrick, personally oversees each step of the creative process from inspiration to delivery and installation.
